Byrdie Wilson is a Nashville-based country artist originally from Simpsonville, South Carolina, whose authentic storytelling, powerhouse vocals, and high-energy performances are quickly making her one of independent country music’s fastest-rising independent artists.

Since moving to Nashville in 2021, Byrdie has quickly made her mark on Music City, being named The Tennessean’s Best Artist of Music City, winning the Monster Energy Rising Star Competition, and becoming a finalist for America’s Top Hitmaker.

Her latest single, “Savin’,” showcases Byrdie’s signature blend of heartfelt lyrics and modern country production. The coming-of-age anthem explores the journey from simply getting by to building a future with the person you love, striking a chord with fans across the country. The song has already gained significant momentum on social media, with one TikTok video surpassing 200,000 views. This fall, Byrdie will continue that momentum with the release of her highly anticipated new single, “Redneck Enough.”

The past year has been filled with milestone performances, including Tin Pan South, Carolina Country Music Fest, CMA Fest Fan Fair at the Shenandoah booth, and Barefoot Country Music Fest. 

And on August 21, 2026, Byrdie will take the stage as Drew Baldridge’s Spotlight Artist in Isle of Palms, South Carolina, introducing her music to an even broader audience. 

Her growing recognition has also earned the attention of legendary western wear brand Wrangler, whose PR team selected Byrdie for a curated artist package highlighting emerging talent in country music.

Away from the stage, Byrdie is passionate about creating opportunities for other artists. She hosts “Wingin’ It,” a monthly songwriter round at Redneck Riviera in downtown Nashville, bringing together some of Music City’s most exciting up-and-coming songwriters for an intimate, acoustic experience.

Born with a cleft palate, Byrdie understands firsthand the challenges of growing up feeling different. After undergoing surgery and speech therapy for most of her childhood, she transformed those experiences into a passion for encouraging others. 

Today, she proudly serves as a Youth Ambassador for Operation Smile, using her platform to advocate for children born with cleft conditions and craniofacial differences. Through speaking engagements, outreach, and sharing her own story, Byrdie hopes to remind young people that their scars don’t define them and that their strength does.
