Meet Byrdie Wilson

Rooted in Simpsonville, South Carolina, and now making her home in Nashville, Byrdie Wilson writes and performs country songs with heart, grit, and a voice all her own. Her powerhouse vocals and high energy shows have earned her a growing following and recognition as The Tennessean’s Best Artist of Music City, winner of the Monster Energy Rising Star Competition, and finalist for America’s Top Hitmaker.

On Byrdie's song “Savin’,” she pairs heartfelt lyrics with modern country production to tell a coming-of-age story about moving beyond getting by and building a future with the person you love. The song struck a chord online, with a TikTok video surpassing 200,000 views. Recently, she followed it with “Redneck Enough,” keeping her honest, spirited sound front and center.

Recent performance highlights include Tin Pan South, Carolina Country Music Fest, CMA Fest Fan Fair, and Barefoot Country Music Fest. In August 2026, Byrdie joined Drew Baldridge as his Spotlight Artist in Isle of Palms, South Carolina.

Offstage, Byrdie hosts “Wingin’ It,” a monthly songwriter round at Redneck Riviera in downtown Nashville, bringing up-and-coming writers together for an intimate acoustic night. She is also a Youth Ambassador for Operation Smile. Having grown up with a cleft palate and undergone surgery and speech therapy, Byrdie shares her story to encourage young people and remind them that their scars don’t define them - their strength does.

With more than a million global streams, Byrdie is building a connection with listeners through relatable songwriting, generous spirit, and a distinctive country sound.
